With a multidisciplinary understanding of building systems design and experience in the construction industry, Ben Willt takes a holistic approach to his consulting practices by harmonizing acoustics and noise control strategies with the architectural, structural, and building services designs to arrive at cost effective, sustainable, and energy-efficient approaches that fulfill all project goals.
Ben has an extensive history of work with some of the most notable institutions around the world including Carnegie Hall, the Santa Fe Opera, the New England Conservatory, Salt Lake Tabernacle and Stanford University. Exploring practical and efficient solutions is key to his successful integration of acoustics and noise control elements that have repeatedly satisfied building owners and users.
Ben has been extensively involved in the design of many arts education facilities, performing arts centers, worship spaces, and LEED/”green” projects. He is an experienced musician who began with piano and choir, then trombone and baritone, and now acoustic guitar.
