Kirsten comes to acoustics with an architectural eye and a musician’s ear, seeking to integrate aural experiences seamlessly with visual aesthetics. Her work at Kirkegaard centers on room acoustics, frequently utilizing three-dimensional and parametric modeling in tandem with conventional design processes. Kirsten also studies sound isolation and mechanical noise control in both new and renovated spaces, always welcoming the wide variety of challenges that come her way.
