In this project, a drab dining hall in a 1950s office and classrooms building was converted into a small jewel of a chapel. The classical detailing of the new 200-seat interior conceals careful treatments for flutter and echo control. The choir loft at the rear includes a rebuilt Schantz organ relocated from a small campus auditorium. The room is now used for worship and weddings, lectures, and as a preaching lab.
