Kirkegaard Associates Feasibility Study
As the largest gathering space on the College of Wooster Campus, this emblem of 1971 architecture serves a wide range of functions. Symphony, concert band, chorus, organ recital, and the traditional bagpipe band of the college share the stage with gospel, dance, lecture series, and convocation and commencement events. A comprehensive acoustic assessment identified goals for the long-term improvements of McGaw to suit the purposes to which it is already being pressed into service. Initial implementation projects have thus far focused on the house audio system and infrastructure to support rental audio and video for expanded functionality.
