Experience
At Kirkegaard Associates, Andy focuses his time on room acoustics and noise control design. His experiences as a musician/composer, sound engineer, and sound system designer aid his ability to develop unique, but practical solutions towards achieving desirable acoustics.
Some of his past project experiences include: research and testing of reflection characteristics of mock side wall panels and balcony fronts from Royal Festival Hall, Hamer Hall, and Xalapa Symphony; computer modeling for the successful Queen Elisabeth Hall competition; and development of an isolation auralization software to aid clients with the selection of appropriate wall systems.
