Experience
Ms. Frangetto has a decade of architectural experience in buildings with sensitive acoustic requirements. At Kirkegaard Associates, she dedicates her time to room acoustics and sound isolation design. She was lead acoustician for the recently opened Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, a 1200-seat Theatre in Virginia Beach, Virginia and the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies, a 12-floor building that houses a 400-seat Auditorium, Museums and Classrooms in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Frangetto was involved in the 2200-seat multi-purpose Overture Hall in Madison, Wisconsin, part of the Overture Center, which also includes the renovation of the Oscar Mayer Theater and Playhouse. She was responsible for coordination and architectural detailing of acoustic recommendations of the Chicago’s Pressure Point Recording Studios and the Shure Technical Center in Niles, Illinois.
Other project involvement includes the design of the Atlanta Symphony Center, the new 2000-seat home for Atlanta Symphony Orchestra; the Holland Performing Arts Center, a 2000-seat multi-use concert hall in Omaha, Nebraska; the Anderson Opera Center in Miami, Florida; the Fine Arts Center in the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point; the Puerto Rico Conservatory – academic and performance restoration and addition; the Lyons Township High School, La Grange, Illinois; the Mid America Nazarene University, a Cultural Events Center in Olathe, Kansas; Otsego High School, Michigan; and Snowmass Chapel, Colorado.
Her current projects are the Xalapa Concert Hall in Veracruz, Mexico, the Saenger Theater renovation and addition, Pensacola, Florida and the University of Chicago – David Logan Arts Center, Illinois.
Prior to joining Kirkegaard Associates, Mrs. Frangetto coordinated and developed the architectural, restoration and revitalization of the Sao Paulo Symphonic Concert Hall and a broad range of projects such as commercial and industrial facilities, offices and residential buildings.
