Experience
At Kirkegaard Associates, Mr. Shou focuses on room acoustics design. He contributes to the design of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute – Experimental Media Performing Arts Center, Troy, NY; University of Delaware Center for the Arts, Newark, DE; Monroe County Community College – Business Training and Performing Arts, Monroe, MI; Lake Superior State University – Arts/Classroom Facility, Ste. Marie, MI; Canton Performing Arts Center, Canton, MI; Mott and Kettering High Schools, Waterford School District, MI; Trinity Church, Boston, MA; and Dunwoody United Methodist Church, Atlanta, GA; LaGrange College, Callaway Auditorium, LaGrange, GA; Sonoma State University – Green Music Center, Ronert Park, CA.
Prior to joining Kirkegaard Associates, Mr. Shou earned a first professional degree in architecture. During graduate school, he taught as a Graduate Teaching Fellow for classes ranging from Spatial Composition to Structures. His interest in education began in college when he held several Teaching Assistant positions in biology.
