Description

When Trinity Church decided to develop the Undercroft of its sanctuary to support expanded function space, a collaborative team of Cavannaugh Tocci Associates and Kirkegaard provided the acoustic design to assure that it worked properly. Of primary importance was that systems and functions in the area would not negatively impact the Sanctuary upstairs. CTA took the lead on the Undercroft spaces, while Kirkegaard developed the AV systems design for the Sanctuary. Kirkegaard Associates also provided design direction to improve the acoustics of this historic landmark through stiffening of the floor and reduction of background noise.
