Kaitlyn Hunt’s passions for physics, math, music, and theater led to her interest in acoustics and the development of her growing career in the field. Prior to joining Kirkegaard, Kaitlyn gained experience from working on a diversity of projects including commercial and industrial facilities, offices, hospitality, and higher education spaces. Her deep experience focused on speech privacy for enclosed and open offices, and sound isolation between noise-sensitive spaces has prepared her for expanding her work into the performing arts.

An expert in noise control for building and mechanical systems, Kaitlyn has designed solutions for industrial noise control and mitigation of outdoor noise propagation from mechanical equipment for major clients in Texas and across North America. A native Texan, Kaitlyn has lectured at Rice University and the University of Houston.
