Director of Marketing – Administration
Ashley’s admiration for the arts combined with her background in marketing for the AEC industry brought her to Kirkegaard. As a St. Louis native, she is deeply passionate about enhancing the local community through architecture and engineering to strengthen human connections. Her experience spans from firms that specialized in healthcare, residential, hospitality, corporate, and outdoor spaces. Having a strong understanding of multiple disciplines gives her extra insight on the capabilities needed for effective teaming. Her marketing expertise includes – branding, strategic planning, client relations, and social media.
Ashley has also volunteered and held board positions that benefit St. Louis residents with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, and those in need of housing. She loves supporting young women building a career in marketing. In the near future, she hopes to pair her marketing knowledge with causes that benefit women that have graduated from transitional housing to promote their stories and their achievements.
What excites you about the architecture and engineering industry?
I love being apart of the team that transforms spaces!
Where do you go for inspiration?
Any running trail with a beautiful scenery. I’ve found that once I finish a course I feel rejuvenated. When I am indoors, I just turn on some Amy Winehouse and I’m able to focus and create seamlessly.
What is the most memorable performance you have ever seen?
The Raconteurs at The Pageant in St. Louis. I have seen Jack White every time he’s made a stop in St. Louis. He has an energy and stage presence that keeps me engrossed when he performs. However, when he played with the Raconteurs, their synergy just blew me away. It was incredible!
