Situated inside a 100-year old carriage house, Brown's Grant / Fulton Hall has been transformed into a new state-of-the-art recital/classroom space serving conventional and electronic ensembles. As the music department's primary performance venue, the room's technical infrastructure accommodates multi-channel playback/surround setups, and adjustable acoustics. The space serves jazz ensembles, African drumming, lectures, student recitals, and meme@brown - an interdisciplinary program focusing on the creative use of emerging technology for real-time interactive performance. The adjacent Fulton Rehearsal Hall was renovated as part of the project.
