Over the years as new exhibits are installed, Kirkegaard has worked on various projects at Chicago's Field Museum of Natural History. Repeat services for this client have included the museum's original "Sue" Exhibit, featuring the world's largest, most complete, and best preserved Tyrannosaurus Rex. Other projects at the museum include the "Life Over Time" Exhibit Hall and recommendations for acoustics and audio system improvements in the Stanley Field Hall.
