Katey provides technical design with a keen eye for detail. She leverages her distinctive knowledge base to disseminate information and communicate efficiently with other disciplines and client teams. Prior to joining the team at Kirkegaard, Katey was involved with the design of various low voltage systems for the built environment, such as Structured Cabling, Audio Visual, and Security Systems. Her background in low voltage design cuts across several sectors including Airports, Higher Education, Government, Commercial, and Higher Arts.

Katey’s past experiences grant her a unique position to analyze the relationships between low voltage systems and how they may be integrated through design.  She is passionate about enhancing people’s experiences with the built environment through technology design. She aims for holistic solutions with the end user in mind.
