The Museum of Science and Industry Rotunda is a flexible space with eight (8) potential stage locations and a seven - ten (7-10) second reverberation time depending on the nature of the exhibit in the North Gallery. The sound system is completely hidden by acoustically transparent murals and changes its orientation to any of the eight (8) operable locations with a single switch. Four (4) separate control panels are available around the floor, with stage selection controlled by a simple rotary switch. The system is able to provide directionally realistic, natural-sounding, intelligible speech in a very challenging environment.
