Weill Hall and Pavilion at Sonoma State University's Donald and Maureen Green Music Center has a 1,400-seat concert hall with a rear door that opens to the lawn outside providing excellent sound and spectacular views to an additional 3,000 people. This design was created for the potential expansion of the amphitheater for a capacity of up to 10,000. Weill is home to the Santa Rosa Orchestra and accommodates a wide range of performances from jazz to opera and comedy. This world-class hall also is a giant classroom serving music students, faculty and the community. The Green Music Center includes a full complement of music rehearsal, ensemble, practice spaces as well as seminar rooms and faculty offices to support the day-to-day functions of the Music Department.
